The dSolar 4W System includes one 9V solar panel, providing approximately 500 mA, enough to power the NXT and two motors in direct sunlight. Also includes one dSolar Power Cord and one dSolar NXT Adapter.

STEP 1: Build the 5-Minute Bot. Step by step instructions on how to build it.Â
STEP 2:Â Throw the batteries out. Or at least put them to the side. You don't need them with the dSolar!Â
STEP 3:Â Build the solar chassis. This will hold the solar panel up. See pictures to the right.Â
STEP 4:Â Attach the solar chassis to the NXT.Â
STEP 5:Â Build the electrical: now we will hook up the electrical power to the robot.Â
STEP 6:Â Attach the capacitor bank.Â
STEP 7:Â Prepare the solar panel.Â
STEP 8:Â Attach the solar panel to the robot.Â
